Sandra spends her days off enjoying all that Port Elgin has to offer with her husband and three lovely dogs named Loki, Idunn and Sigi.
HEIDI
Optician
Heidi is a Registered Optician and has more than 20 years of experience in Optometric office environments. She will make sure your glasses fit you perfectly!
Heidi spends her days off at the hockey rink cheering on her kids and is also a trainer/coach for minor hockey in Port Elgin.

Eyewear Stylist
Emma has a great eye for fashion and design. She will help you find the perfect glasses that suit your individual style!

SHELLEY
Administrative Assistant
Life brought Shelley to Port Elgin a few years back. With her diploma in medical health administration, she professionally manages your appointments and medical records!
When she's not busy working, Shelley enjoys fishing with her spouse and dabbling in watercolors as her creative outlet. She's also a loving fur mama to her Shih Tzu, Duffy.
DR. SANDRA CHIU
Optometrist
Dr. Sandra Chiu graduated first in her class at New England College of Optometry and was honored as the class Valedictorian in 2014. Upon graduation, she returned home to Toronto and practiced as an Optometrist, providing the finest eye care services to her patients. Known for her diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, Dr Chiu is well-loved by patients who find her to be a gifted communicator with a pleasant nature. She is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and Canadian Association of Optometrists.
In 2020, Dr. Chiu fell in love with Saugeen Shores while visiting the area and decided to make Port Elgin her home, where she lives with her husband and three lovely dogs named Loki, Idunn and Sigi.
Dr. Chiu takes special interest in exercise science and nutrition with focus on the effects of lifestyle and aging. For recreation, she enjoys travelling and exploring the Province with her husband and three dogs.

Lake Views Eye Care, formerly Carey Optical, was founded in 2006 by Paul and Lorie Carey. In 2021, Paul and Lorie Carey selected the perfect person who will continue their legacy that they have worked so hard to build. They passed the torch to the very knowledgeable and caring optometrist Dr. Sandra Chiu, who continues to serve the community with the same level of care that customers know and appreciate. Since then, Dr. Chiu has expanded the practice to provide full optometry services, and have brought in exclusive brands and hand-picked frames for the local market.
At Lake Views Eye Care, we provide great eyewear selection and outstanding services to each and every customer. We love working with you to select the lenses and frames best suited to both your prescription and your individual needs. To properly fit glasses, we insist that all fittings must be done in person by our Optometrist or Registered Optician. We will take the time to do it properly and thoroughly to ensure your satisfaction.
